1. Information We Collect

Checkout Bump collects only the minimum data required to provide the service:

• Your Shopify store domain and access token (for API communication)
• Bump offer rules you configure in the app dashboard
• Subscription status (plan, subscription ID)

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers (buyers).

2. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used solely to provide the Checkout Bump service: displaying product recommendations on your checkout page and managing your subscription.

3. Data Storage

Your store data is stored in a secure database hosted on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except as required by law or to process payments through Shopify's Billing API.

5. Data Deletion

When you uninstall the app, your store's data (rules and subscription info) is deactivated immediately. All data is permanently deleted within 48 hours of receiving Shopify's shop/redact webhook.

6. GDPR Compliance

We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks. Customer data deletion requests are honored immediately (we store no customer data). Shop data deletion requests are processed within 48 hours.
